The Government of the Slovak Republic approved the draft Action Plan for the Development of Electromobility
At today’s meeting of the Government of the Slovak Republic, a measure in the form of the Action Plan for the Development of Electromobility was approved. This plan includes a comprehensive set of 16 measures to promote electromobility.
The measures include subsidies to support the purchase of electric vehicles, adjustments to the amount of employee income tax in the case of the use of a company electric car for personal purposes, mentions of rules for charging company vehicles at private chargers. The plan also includes proposals for benefits for owners of vehicles with ‘green number plates’ and financial measures for the creation of a national network of ultra-fast charging points (UFCs) and the creation of public charging infrastructure in general.
As regards fast charging stations for electric vehicles, the plan includes the construction of at least 228 ultra-fast charging points along TEN-T corridors by the end of 2026. It is also planned to launch calls for tenders for the construction of at least 2 600 publicly available AC charging points and 500 publicly available DC charging points by the end of 2026.
