Available power should be distributed according to real fleet demand

For fleet charging, the maximum power of a single station is not the only factor. It also matters how available energy is used when several vehicles charge at the same time.

Dynamic power distribution. With supported multi-port DC solutions, available power is distributed between active ports.
Combination of AC and DC. AC covers vehicles with longer parking times, while DC serves shorter charging windows.
Capacity for growth. The infrastructure can be prepared for additional vehicles and charging points.

Frequently Asked Questions Before Designing Fleet Charging

Is AC or DC charging better for a corporate fleet? +
It mainly depends on how long vehicles remain parked at the site. AC can be suitable for longer parking, while DC is better for shorter breaks. A fleet can also use a combination of both.
Can charging be restricted to employees only? +
Yes. A station can operate with restricted access, with users authorised, for example, via RFID.
Can charging station usage be monitored? +
Yes. The platform provides information about charging sessions, stations, ports and summary statistics.
What if we do not have enough electrical capacity for all vehicles at once? +
The design considers available electrical capacity and the real needs of the vehicles. Supported multi-port DC solutions can use dynamic power distribution between active ports.
Can we start with fewer charging points? +
Yes. The infrastructure can be prepared so that additional charging points or higher-power DC stations can be added later.
We have stations from another manufacturer. Can they be integrated? +
For compatible stations, we can assess integration into the system via OCPP.
